This is a really good way of explaining how things work.

Trump supporters, I am asking you to wake up! You voted for a man who isn't real, doesn't control much of anything and is a betrayer. Let go of him.

If you wanted peace, medical freedom, the Constitution respected, freedom of speech, freedom of life then Trump and one of his overlords, Musk, aren't your men.

This is the time for we the people to stand up and bring about freedom. Freedom cannot come from illusions, only truth.

There are many cogs and we saw this more clearly because of the covid operation. We seem to be forgetting what we experienced. I say remember it and act on the sure knowledge of who had courage and who did not.

Exactly Jill! I voted for Trump twice, but definitely couldn’t do it a third time!

I know too much NOW!

And it’s much worse than I ever imagined. I wish I didn’t have to say this.

What the hell have I been living in the last 61 years? It’s frightening, to be honest.

Trump supporters have cognitive dissonance, exactly what their complaint about “the Left” is.

I used to believe it was all a hierarchy, as described here. As I got old, I came to realize that it's not a hierarchy, it's a web, a network of interconnections. Even if you're president (of a country or a company), there are still plenty of people who will tell you what to do: your wife, your kids, your board of directors, your security people, your investors, your staff, the market. It's the definition of a wise leader that they take all of these inputs, synthesize them and come up with decisions.

The more powerful you are, the more voices you have to listen to. Control doesn't run just top down, it runs all over the place; back and forth and diagonally. Nearly everyone has experienced a situation where the old, experienced worker could override the foreman with just a look. That worker wasn't in the hierarchy, but they were in the web.

And then, the biggest power of all steps in: random chance (or God, as you prefer).

Rudimentary, you as a Green Beret would know this. Your whole mission was/is to get the cogs in line. What is your objective now?

How do we get to the point when they just leave us the fuck alone and let life happen?

The answer to all of this, as my beloved husband taught, is concise and as God intended:

STAND IN YOUR POWER!

If the point of this is that US Presidents are owned by special interests, I agree in large part. As for the current President-Elect, I think he is the puppet of the guy who controls the Trump real estate empire (resident at Mar-a-Lago in Florida).

Seriously, Michael - if you are going to continue being hung up on COVID issues, are you still going to doubt his bona fides after his pick to succeed Fauci at NIH: Dr. Jay Bhattacharya? Just another apparatchik? RFK, Jr (Big Pharma poster-boy)?

“Hung up on COVD issues”???? Seriously?

That’s why I didn’t vote for Trump a third time. Because of him, and his ilk, people are dead, injured, and destitute. And that’s putting it lightly!

I do not trust ONE person Trump has nominated to “his” administration.

Trump probably chose these people to balance out his unethical fuck up!

So, you were a Harris voter?

Or someone else? Pray tell whom, with saintly clean hands, you supported?

Expand full comment

Why do people assume that because I didn’t vote for Trump, I voted for Harris?

I did “better”…I didn’t vote!

I cannot give an illegitimate vote to evil (both sides).

Expand full comment

You didn't vote . . . that means, I assume that you were not capable of discerning a difference between Trump and Harris? Because if you could see a difference, then surely one of them was MORE closely (though not perfectly) aligned with your values than the other - and your not voting means you (in essence) gave your support to the one less aligned with your values (because you failed to support the more closely aligned).

If you couldn't support Trump or Harris, was there no one you could support; you have the right to write-in a candidate - you are surely aware of that. If there is only one reasonable choice - yourself - why not write-in yourself?

The choice not to vote at all is an abdication of your right to choose. If you can't make that kind of decision, you haven't much room to complain about the choice your fellow Americans made. Do you?

The thing to remember here is that human beings and their humanity are not just deterministic cogs in a Newtonian machine. We are living systems inside a fractal Living Universe. For that reason there will always be a cubic centimeter of chance that is unpredictable. (As Carlos Casteneda’s mentor Don Juan called it) Cogs don’t pray to the clockmaker… Question: Why is the double-blind, placebo-controlled experiment the gold standard in medicine? Because our intent and our expectations can affect worldly outcomes, whether they be due to our own consciousness or the collective. It’s a fact. So please don’t get upset with us Michael, that we keep a positive attitude and great expectations for a miracle and a positive outcome. People kick cancer every day with the proper mindset, and team humanity can kick this globalist cancer. The great irony is that people project their power onto the doctor (personality worship?), rather than realizing that the power lies in the God-fragment within themselves and that relationship that exists there. Cogs don’t pray to the clockmaker, but we can. So let’s all pray that our time has come and that Schroedinger’s cat comes out alive!

And in keeping with that great analogy, that big ol’ wheel will keep on turning if one or even thousands of cogs “snap off”. When I worked for a Fortune 50 company and I would say this over and over: I’m a just a cog, if I break (and they work their employees at all levels very hard but have excellent health insurance benefits to “compensate”), nothing will happen to the wheel, the company, it will roll on as if I was never there. I can be replaced and if I can’t, I alone am so insignificant that my breaking off/down will do nothing to stop the force, the momentum, of that wheel. The next gen of cogs will simply fall into line and fill the vacant slots, unless all the cogs choose to snap off at once. Without cogs, the wheel will grind to a halt. Be a snapped cog.

Superb analogy on how the order followers 99.99% of the time obey the order givers who in turn receive what orders they are to give. As for the order followers - actually more morally culpable than the order givers because they actually carry out the actions thinking that following orders somehow absolves them of their own morality, whether they have any morals or not - "their worst sin is that they have destroyed and betrayed them selves for nothing!"
