Interesting how they didn’t want to be vaccinated. It would also be interesting to know what people thought of vaccines back then. They probably hadn’t been brainwashed like we had been over the years by MSM etc. They probably knew it was some Rockefeller BS and they should avoid it. The level of propaganda put on the American people over the last hundred years is insane.
Old books are great, and I love reading novels from the '40s & '50s - NOT politically correct, and remind me of how the US lived with a functioning First Amendment.
But it's also necessary to remember that contemporary accounts of events were occasionally slanted (just like today's journalism) to reflect a political agenda. Sometimes, history is more accurately told long afterward. One only need think of the histories of the Civil War - and how blame was assessed at the time concerning military engagements. Much later analysis, not reflecting a concern for the current political (anti-South Reconstruction) atmosphere, can be quite different.
