Do the Panamanians know that China is in their country? I see & understand how much they hate the CIA, but would they prefer China to the U.S.?

What a mess!

Humiliating for Americans to witness American professionals going into any nation on the receiving end of U.S. Military with 'Soft Unrestrained Warfare' as being enacted onto the children and Marine Rock Bands in the Plaza of an important church. After what American OLIGARCHICAL UNIPARTY IMPERIALISTS have done to Americans in the last five years, it seems America would get smarter tell the truth. How about America just EDUCATE THE PEOPLE about the real danger; the real enemy stealing into their nation without them being aware of it wanting them and all people as their SLAVES.

Were I on the receiving end in Panama...I wouldn't trust America, either. Panama isn't aware of what China is while they are fully aware of just how dangerous America can be which has now been made crystal clear to Americans in the last five years. While China has historically murdered and enslaved their people, America IS NOW TRYING TO MURDER and ENSLAVE HER OWN PEOPLE. What does that indicate to other nations?

Thank you Michael for your ongoing reporting. Interesting perspectives, especially of the Panamanian man.

Not pleased with the Marines in the Blue dress "D" uniforms playing in a 'rock band' like that. Something obviously started under the FJB regime (or who knows, probably before that under BHO) that hopefully Secy Hegseth will put an end to. Where are the traditional Marine Band instruments? ... play some classical music (not that I don't like Journey, just not in that format) for the Panamanian people.

dropped a good quick interview. Thanks

The lady from Wisconsin; I respect her passion.

"Communism, capitalism. It's the innocents who get slaughtered."

In these situations reminiscent of the Cold War I think back to one of my favorite scenes from one of my favorite movies, "The Spy Who Came in from the Cold."

Agreed, the youngish man with beard certainly made some solid points. Here. for example in USA, I paid into what was known as Social Security INSURANCE (it even said so on my paystub) BY FORCE which has now morphed into Social Security INCOME. Subtle changes like that morph into "Oh, thats a Government Benefit we can reduce because it's too expensive"---enter COVID19, Inc., started with "The most vulnerable"---which would be those 60 plus and the disabled. Thus we can reduce this Liability, Current and Contingent Liabilities by Operation Liability Reduction Act aka Operation Warp Speed with a phony pandemic. Weaponized Anxiety so they'll insist on a "cure", Pay off some Governors and Officialdom to "Mandate" Jabs and there y'all go. Just tinker with some numbers such as ~30k die annually of the Flu in 2019, in 2021, ~30K died of COVID19, Inc., Seasonal Flu? About 8. Thats EIGHT versus 30,000. Figures Don't Lie but Liars Can Figure.

He is also correct that we live in an Oligarchy and don't think for one second these Oligarchs aren't Communists themselves in $20,000 custom tailored suits. They're Fabian Socialists, Frankfort, Germany gave us The Fabian Society, their logo? A Wolf in Sheep's clothing. Frankfort School of Economics, The London School of Economics, Columbia, Berkeley, The University of Chicago, etc. Fabian schools. Technocracy/Transhumanism is related to this Monstrous agenda. Muskrat and his ilk--Thiel, etc.

Klaus Schwab, Heinz Kissinger, Jacob Rothschild, German Existentialists.---2 homosexual German Existenialists which have infiltrated the University scene for many decades What's Agenda 21/2030? Communitarianism---aka Global Authoritarian Communism..Although he is correct in many ways, he'll fall into the Communists like a ripe plumb falling from the tree. That is the intent. They may be evil but they are certainly not stupid.

Here's their Logo---Fabian Society. I'll have to message their logo. I'm too untech savvy to do it here in this communique'. Checks y'all's Direct Message thingy, whatever it is known as for their logo.

God Bless y'all and be careful.

pardon my verbosity but I reckon I'm very pissed off right now.

Krugman is as dumb as a fencepost----Ideology and Economics should never be in the same room let alone, Marry each other. This son of a bitch won a Nobel Prize in Economics---Tells y'all everything you need to know bout Nobel Prize committee.

Be Blessed.

Much obliged but my Momma (English teacher turned Doctoral Biblical Scholar) might take issue with "well written comments". She might read and chew me to shreds, verbally regarding Grammar/Spelling at some points. She did so on my Term Papers and such.LoL.

Pleased they seem helpful.

Michael, with the jungle being compromised, and the jungle being critical to having enough water for the canal’s operation, how will the canal continue in the coming years?

These street interviews are the best of the best of your outstanding work. They hit the consciousness like nothing else to wake up our often deadened senses to the urgency. The Wisconsin woman's rage I wish existed here by us all. The Panamanian gentleman articulate about the universal oligarchy takeover. If we the people turned out for this cause instead of football...imagine the power. If we could be enraged about the rape of our country, thw world.

The protesters in the video make salient points on daily impacts to everyday life in Panama. Just like in the U.S. and throughout the world, far bigger threats, such as the threats posed to the Panama Canal, are ignored due to everyday intense struggles for ordinary people.

Also, Michael Yon had suggested in a previous post the best way to approach the Panama Canal situation is with peaceful and robust business engagement along with continuous diplomacy.

Time to take the canal back. These protesters are obviously communists/socialists. The Wisconsin lady may as well have had it tattooed on her forehead.
