Goes all the way back to President Jimmy Carter. What a shame.

Congress needs to intervene since the state dept won't allow the US Southern Command to do it's job of stabilizing the Panama canal. They warned about Chinas involvement a long time ago. I blame the Biden admin for this 💯

PRC already owns much of the US, at least the politicians. Case in point: California.

We who have spent time there saw this in the making 25+ years ago as the US Armed Forces we’re packing up to leave. You could ride around and see what was happening to the buildings that had already been returned to the Panamanians. They had been abandoned and crumbling. So it wasn’t hard to see that the canal and the other infrastructure that were being maintained by the US were going to fall by the wayside. Couple that in with the actors that the Panamanian Government has let in to pick up the slack. Fast forward to illegal immigrant holding facilities that house some of the worlds worst as they trek north to our border. Intentional destruction of Panama, a major strategic location in the global arena’s big plan for total control. We can thank former President Jimmy Carter, the 2nd worst president of all time. BTW, how is it that he’s still alive?

God help the people of Panama. We're all next. Thank you so much Michael for your amazing and critical reporting. We wouldn't know even 1/2 of anything if it wasn't for you.

God bless and keep you and yours safe.

China has never invaded anywhere (yet) and they own and control half the land and infrastructure in the Americas. John Birch society was right. WW3 is going to kill 97% of Americans and they are going to die easy and without much of an epitaph. Controlling the Panama Canal is tantamount to owning the entire continent. Once the time comes for the Chinese military to act following the first strike with nuclear weapons I foresee no organized opposition and it is unlikely we will even be able to field a military by that time. Americans have their heads so far up their own a**es it is like taking candy from a baby. They have been sleepwalking since they shot Kennedy.

I am an ex-pat living in The Republic of Panama. We are witness to the illegal immigration headed to the states. However, this country is currently shut down due to protests against chinese mining. We are not seeing the illegals in our cities west of Panama City at this time. We are trying to figure out how they are moving them since travel through Panama is shut down. We see cargo planes leaving from Panama City airports. Is this how they are being smuggled in?

Having been illegally invaded 5 times by the USA in less than 100 years, the USA has zero right to launch yet another illegal invasion of our country.

If the USA does want to resolve these issues we are facing, they can pressure Blackrock and Canada to not come here and destroy our water, our land, and our tourism trade.

That is the reason for overland transport issues. Protecting our environment and our nation.

As for the canal, and reduced maritime traffic, that's a function of reduced rain due to el niño.

Is China or US NGOs fomenting dissent and fanning the flames of legitimate local concerns to buy the Panama Cobre assets on the cheap?
