I wrote a polite and positive email query to HIAS, congratulating them for their humanity, and asking a few simple questions about their operation, and if they had any concerns about child trafficking. I never heard back. I am not surprised.

Way to go, Mr. Yon and Operation Burning Edge. Recently, I am learning more about Hwy1 / bridges being built connecting Central America all the way to Mexico. This is essentially a super highway for transport of people and cargo on land. I am not knowledgeable about this yet, but am asking and/or sharing a new threat. I saw photos of abutments being built in Panama for the large bridges that are under construction on the CCP’s dime.
Over a hundred years ago if there was an invasion at the southern border you'd be shot. Just saying it's going to be either them or us. And if those facilitating the invasion think they're going to be spared should remember what Mao did to the useless idiots in China.

Last month I was invited to a residential campaign event for an active out-of-state congressional representative who is stepping down this year to run for the US Senate. Present at this event were two former congressional reps from my own state who have both left office within the last 6 years.
During a discussion of the border situation, I made direct reference to Tucker's interview with Bret Weinstein, and noted that I've never heard anyone in Congress mention the activity in Panama that you've called attention to. I even mentioned Mayorkas' trip to the camp(s) on Blackhawk helicopters. My remarks drew neither challenge nor comment, but perhaps a little discomfort.
I liked this Senate candidate, who I'll leave unnamed, based on my research into legislation he has pursued and on my in-person take of the man. I think he's trying to do the right things, and I hope he does come from behind in his primary to win the nomination. If he does, he's likely to steal a Democratic Senate seat in a heavily conservative state.
