Surprise…I was at Vancouver, BC airport a few hours ago flying to Japan.
Saw this book on the shelf. I know his face. Justin Alexander Shelter.
Justin went missing. India 2016.
Most who go missing there just vanish without a whisper. I had successfully manhunted that terrain before the wars. Tracked down an American cannibal, for instance.
Most westerners who vanish in India seem to disappear into forever. They come and go like clouds in the night sky.
But Justin was known and liked by many and so a search unfolded.
A friend of Justin knew I had manhunted successfully in India. He reached out to me.
I read Justin’s online diary. Clues popped out. Massive clues others had missed. But then I had manhunted in India and other places before the wars.
I responded to Justin’s mother and a friend with some advice on a man mentioned in the diary. I know his type. I had hunted his type. I told them to hunt him down and question.
Fast forward…. Justin’s mother and friend told the Indian police.
The person of interest quickly became a suspect and was locked into an Indian jail.
And now mystery deepens.
The suspect quickly died under mysterious circumstance. The suspect was dead. Hanged.
This became big news across India and can be found in news articles in English. More investigation was launched.
Helicopter dispatched to search more for Justin.
Justin was never found. Some of his belongings were found. I had told them not to touch anything with bare hands and to quickly store in plastic and I will have someone check the DNA. But they handled it much and so forth.
Justin vanished into the wild. I’d seen this before.
Imagine my surprise when I walked into Vancouver airport today and saw Justin’s face looking out at me.
Now I must read the book.
Whenever I want to watch a movie, I close my eyes and select a memory.
Justin sounded like a good man. Rest in peace, Justin Alexander Shelter. Wherever you are, or ended.
Well if you ever need a second job, we know you can write a book review that’s suspenseful and a cliff hanger. :)
How sad. Likely just a harbinger of things to come in the near future, however.
We will collectively lose many that we hold dear in the coming months due to numerous reasons, it's a different world approaching humanity now.
Prepare your psyche accordingly.
Onward, Christian soldiers!
