As Michael says looking for triggers and trip wires to determine cause is frustrating. Conditions and context point more accurately. Trends, history and precedent produce a fuller picture. It's kind of a rhythm in the flow of information. I have said to a friend since 2007 regarding home construction, for example, developers develop, builders build, the tradesmen do their thing......until they don't. And the stop is usually sudden. No slow death like an old school flashlight that gradually gets dim, but like an LED flashlight: it just quits. All is well until it isn't. This flow of immigrants, that reduction in food production capacity, then fertilizer shortage, that crop failure, this transportation choke point.....etc. Slow and insidious modern news cycle distracts. Poor situational awareness, living in the white zone, entertainment and amusement, faces stuck in a device......most will not see danger coming until it's too late to respond. Michael will revisit his observations. If he mis-informs he corrects. The pace and intensity of his travels I have observed, varies between the absurd and the sublime. What a challenge, but I for one am glad he never fails to forge ahead and press into places both physical and conversational that few dare. He eats and types on the run. Many thanks, Michael.
