Agree that it is disconcerting not to know who to trust. Early on grifters on Twitter claimed they knew, knew, knew who was a “white hat.” It was always someone who went on to be utterly destructive to all we value. But grifters got their clicks in or maybe sold articles. I don’t recall when the term hopium came about but it applied. People crave hope. I have watched some of these videos where we are assured “the military is in control so don’t worry” and Ive felt how hope is seductive and addictive. Without some glimmer of it, it is difficult to live. But let’s try to be realistic, aware and kind to one another. Oh, and honest too! IDK about Flynn. Not a favorite of mine, by gut feeling. He’s been showing up in some productions that I have issues with.....but IDK.
