A friend with significant international medical experience sends this:
“Thank you, Michael.
I have a relative who was driving to a travel nursing assignment. En route, he spent one night in a reputable motel in the Southwest US. About 2-3 days later he developed a case of scabies (mite infestation - Sarcoptes scabiei). The saying “seven year itch” derives from scabies.
He has been treated with the standard treatments:
topical permethrin from head-to-toe for 8 hours (very toxic, potentially cancer causing med) - condition didn’t resolve so next was:
oral ivermectin for some days - still unresolved.
Next may be a form of “escalation therapy,” such as allethrin, permethrin, and ivermectin in combination.
Dermatologists may use videomicroscopy to confirm the presence of the live mites after standard treatment.
It appears he may have a case that is resistant to standard scabies treatment.
He is absolutely miserable and feeling desperate as his condition is unresolved.
Papules (bumps) on the skin and nodules from the mites tunneling may next appear as the condition worsens.
And secondary skin infections may develop as the skin begins to break down.
He originally is from the Northern tier of the US. He had never been to the Southwest before this trip. He only went to accept a job.
Scabies is a serious health concern, as you well know. Cases are increasing worldwide while masses of people are on the move…..”

Separately, from Michael Yon: lice are frequently popping up around USA and here in Panama. Lice spread epidemic typhus. I have read several books on typhus…you don’t want epidemic typhus. Typhus makes Spanish Fever look like a minor social inconvenience. I see direct evidence that USA is being intentionally set up for epidemic typhus. For instance, schools now being advised not to send children home just because they have lice…EPIC error unless you are waging biological warfare. In which case it’s pretty clever
.
Very interesting Michael! Now I have one for you. Some years back I read somewhere or other about Chinese armies which are prepositioned just outside the US (in the main). I wonder if you have comments on this article, which I have seen nowhere else FYI. Concerning the US/Mexican border there is supposedly a Chinese force of 250,000 men waiting to move across. They were selected because, racially, they look like indigenous North Americans which strongly implies that they could blend in very easily in the US Southwest at the very least. All of this dovetails very nicely with what you have been writing recently about The Darien Gap and the Texas/Mexican border. It may be that with millions of Mexicans, et al, already in the US that these troops may already be here. Don't know but maybe you do! Best regards on your researches. (More on this subject later).
Michael, Constable John Shirley here.
Im elected out of Hood County Tx and I was wondering if you would give me a briefing that I could pass on to fellow law enforcement on what you're seeing and how you think this border collapse is going to affect Texas Law Enforcement away from the border.
Any help is appreciated. You and I have exchanged emails several times in the last 20 years. I used to be at Houston PD.
