Eagle Pass, Texas — image made by me on the night of 11 November 2021
Now is 0330 on 13 November and I am up early doing a mind-dump, sans edit.
I made this image together with Auden Cabellos and Masako Ganaha. This is private property just beside Rio Grande. The Eagle Pass Police, DPS, and Texas National Guard, warned us to leave, but the landowner granted us access saying if the illegal aliens can cross, we are welcome, too. I am not sure the landowner himself speaks American. He said these things in Spanish to Auden.
The owner mines the river sand for home construction and they were out digging sand when we came to say hello and ask permission to be on their land. Thousands of birds have made tiny caves in the sand cliffs for nests. The owners say they leave those Canadian birds alone (said they migrate from Canada) so the birds can nest. You know how much I love birds. Was a pleasure to hear they respect the birds as much as I do.
This is just one minute walk from Rio Grande. Invaders crossing the river bring new clothes and shoes in plastic bags to change on the American side after wading across. And so there are thousands of pairs of discarded shoes and clothing out here. I asked if there are gators out there and they said up to 12 feet long. I was told that some people blamed Trump for filling the Rio Grande with gators. I don’t know if that was a joke.
Anyway, millions of people crossing the river do survive the gators and come across wet. Thus the name ‘wetback.’
The river crossers must change into dry clothes to blend into the local population on the U.S. side. If American authorities in town ask if they are American and the recently wet people say “yes,” American authorities do not ask for identification, I am told. And I witnessed this with Auden Cabellos who is of Mexican descent. American authorities simply ask Auden “are you American,” Auden says yes, and he is free to go. (Auden is American but lives in Mexico and is Mexican-American, and US citizen).
Auden is very interesting. He says things I hear other Mexican-Americans say. For instance, that he has an American mentality and many Mexicans do not like that. Tons of Mexican-Americans support Trump and the Mexican-Americans REALLY want to shut the borders down.
And so when you have the ‘progressive’ radicals saying it’s racist to want the border shut, the Mexican-Americans are like, “What!? We are the same race who want to shut it down! Go Trump!”
Remember, I was the man who never liked Trump until he really did stand up to China, and on illegal ‘immigration,’ and for the entire Constitution, not just the convenient parts — the biggest pro-Trump rallies I saw were in Hong Kong. Massive. This race narrative always crumbles on seconds of inspection.
You might be surprised how many Mexican-Americans got the Trump-thing going.
Mexican-Americans make great Soldiers, by the way. Respect. Serious fighters. Many serve in the US military.
That so many Mexican-Americans want the border controlled reminds me of Americans like me who live years in Asia, and white-folk, like me, who like to see illegal Caucasians kicked out of places like Thailand because the illegal Caucasians tend to be the ones who cause trouble. They give the other white folks a bad name. Kick them back to England or America. (There seems to be a theme here.)
By the way, the name “wetback” for illegal crossers derived from getting wet while crossing the Rio Grande illegally. The name wetback is not used as much these days due to negative connotations, but people are crossing 24/7 here, soaking wet, and changing clothes, and leaving the wet clothes here before going downtown, and it’s interesting to hear the people calling them wetbacks have often been Mexican-Americans.
The moon phase is now marching toward the full moon. Brighter every night, and so over the next nights I will be out there a lot. I got to get new night vision gear. Lost some in Afghanistan and did not replace. :(
Thank you for all the support! I need it.
