I was in Peru for a month and bought a bag of dried Coca leaves. It's recommended to help with the high altitude there. After sucking on a few leaves...I ditched the bag. It did NOTHING for me. I had to laugh about that because the three times I smoked pot...the first time...it did nothing. The second time I threw up. The third time...it did nothing. Needless to say...I don't spend my money on pot (or any other drugs)

I looked up the botanical plant Erythroxylon Coca, and sure enough - the leaves in this plant are what cocaine is made from. What I like about these talks is one can see how far back in history (Rockefellers) the snake oil peddlers have been poisoning humans. When Michael brings out a book, it is irrefutable what the eugenicists have been doing for centuries.
The Rockefellers took over the medical industry right after the Civil War...1865. About 10 years later they took over the medical schools. Since then, American medicine treats/manages the symptoms and ignores the cause. That why American's are the sickest in the world.
Our first son had really bad colic as an infant; I'm talking the kind where he would scream-cry because the cramping was so painful. For about his first 3 months, there were many nights when I would have to take him for a ride in the car to get him to fall asleep. My poor wife was basically a zombie after full days of nursing him and changing his diaper ( he had explosive bowel movements!)-and that's when we found Mylicon Drops...
They are basically the same as Gas-X - Simethicone which is NOT a sedative or a stimulant drug so it's not absorbed into the bloodstream - it is considered physiologically inert and is excreted completely unchanged in the stool. Its mechanism is to actually work locally in the GI system and decrease the surface tension of gas bubbles, which helps them disperse and avoid pockets of gas in the GI system.
We started him on the suggested dose which helped some, so we increased it gradually until his colic stopped. And we could sleep again. Our two other kids did not have any digestive problems and I thank God, because I would not want to live through that again.

I often wonder before the labor laws protected the abused young in factories, etc., were they drugged? Sounds like full knowledge of addiction was not known back then? By good people, decent parents? Now we are doing it with ADHD medication, etc. I look at the dangerous amounts of alcohol on college campuses, stores, on every street in every town....how accustomed to it all we have become. Drugs are insidious and have been very effective to say the least. I think there is a growing number of young people catching on --God, I hope so.
This is off subject, but I want to ask you what you think of this push for a vaccine for animals against screw worms. Problem for me is a screw worm is not a virus and I don't know the mechanism of action of the worm against the animal other than it eats into their flesh.
Opium was common in the 1800's too. Of course we all heard about the laudanum use or rather abuse. Glad you two have your heads on. Drugs create an internal and external weakness, not to mention what they do to the soul.

My first thought would be to make a heat sink with a heat pipe, a peltier plate and a little 3.3V fan, so it is self powered, self regulating, and wholly passive and independent. Cheaper to just buy and try if the result is almost the same. The astronomy guys go the whole hog and cool to subzero, and condensation is a problem. One source of the problem may be firmware updates, or lack thereof; according to one site I quickly scanned.
