In your school, did kids lament at the difficulty and uselessness of algebra? Avoiding chemistry, physics, trigonometry, because it was 'hard.'
The more I've learned about information war, the more I suspect that millions of us were bombarded by information campaigns to keep us ignorant.
"Math is hard." Is it?
Walking was hard to learn. You kept falling down.
And "nerd" was an insult.
Despite that at my high school, some of the football players were nerdy. Like me. I was nerdy, always devouring physics, and on the football team. Was not very good at either, but took to both with great relish. (Hey, you don't have to be great to have fun. And physics and running into people was fun.) We had good teachers and coaches in Winter Haven, Florida. Now with advantage of having travelled the globe, my luck at being born in Winter Haven is apparent.
I suspect after years of study on information war, cults, and just roaming around the world, that America has been bombarded with subtle and not-subtle messages to avoid important subjects because they are 'hard' or uncool. This makes us weak.
The ultimate bad is weak, and dumb. Weak + dumb = slave.
Teach the children that being smart is cool, and being weak is worthless.
Everyone has a talent.
Fight the information war. Algebra is not hard. Calculus is not hard. It's just like catching gators. Takes a little practice, but you get the hang of it. And girls dig it. (When I realized girls like smart boys, I studied even harder and was rewarded.)
Stuff like this video is super cool. I read a book on sand. And more books on ants, bees, mosquitos, and more. It's all cool.
Losing is uncool.
Work matters.
Read books.
